The newly renamed Diamond "B" Trout Resort was purchased in January, 2001, by Roger & Judy Boardman. They are native Nebraskans who previously resided in Norfolk, NE. Roger was previously a meat cutter, Nebraska State Patrolman, and owner/manager of Boardman's Furniture & Pawn in Norfolk, NE. Judy has worked as a travel agent and probation office secretary. They have two grown sons, Michael of Overland Park, KS and Thomas of O'Neill, NE. Thomas currently runs the outlet store for Boardman's Furniture and Pawn in O'Neill. |

| This resort was formerly the Diamond "E" Trout Resort and was started by John & Aletha Eley. They built this remarkable, secluded and beautiful resort here at the edge of the Sandhills of Nebraska, which offers patrons from other parts of Nebraska and the world a unique Nebraska experience. Former patrons need not fret. The Eley's will be close by, as they have kept the Hidden Lakes Lodge for themselves. | |
